Meinders Business Leadership Fellows Program

Each year, high-achieving first-year business majors are selected to join the Meinders Business Leadership Fellows, a prestigious opportunity that provides a $10,000 annual award and lets you join a network of peers, making a positive impact on the OCU campus, the business school and the community.

Students take part in an innovative program of co-curricular learning and personal development opportunities, enhancing their collegiate experience and opening doors to opportunities after graduation.

Meinders Fellows are an active group on campus, with regularly held meetings, social gatherings and events hosted by the business school.

To be considered for the Meinders Business Leadership Fellows program and scholarship award, applicants must complete all application materials by the Dec. 15 competitive scholarship deadline. Your application to OCU doubles as your scholarship application.

Students receiving the $10,000 Meinders Business Leadership Fellows award may also stack the university's automatic academic merit scholarship for additional tuition savings. For students with a 3.4 to 3.79 high school GPA, the academic merit scholarship is $10,500 per year. For students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher, the academic merit scholarship is $13,500. In all cases, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA during their OCU studies to be eligible to renew scholarship awards.

Applicants are required to interview with Meinders School of Business staff and faculty. Priority will be given to students who apply by the Dec. 15 scholarship deadline.
