Associate in Science (AS) Transfer Pathway
Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) and Ä¢¹½TV (OCU) have partnered to create a seamless transfer pathway for students pursuing a career in business. Students who complete the Associate in Science (A.S.) in Business at OCCC (62 credit hours) with a minimum 2.0 GPA and grades of C or better in all transferable courses are eligible to apply for admission to OCU’s Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) program.
Through this agreement:
- OCCC graduates who meet transfer requirements will enter OCU with their general education requirements fulfilled, with the exception of OCU’s Religion and Service Learning requirements.
- Many freshman- and sophomore-level business core courses completed at OCCC transfer directly into OCU’s business curriculum, helping students stay on track for graduation.
- Transfer students are not required to take OCU’s MGMT 1001 Freshman Business Connection course and will instead complete additional electives as needed.
- Students can customize their OCU business degree by selecting concentrations in areas such as Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or Marketing.
This partnership is designed to increase student access, support degree completion, and provide a clear pathway from an associate degree at OCCC to a bachelor’s degree at OCU.
Students are encouraged to work closely with advisors at both institutions to ensure a smooth transfer experience and timely degree completion.
