Greek Standards of Excellence
Purpose:  The Greek Standards of Excellence program provides an objective appraisal of the activities of the Ä¢¹½TVU Greek organizations and promotes distinction within the fraternity and sorority community and the greater Ä¢¹½TVU community.
Mission: The Greek Standards of Excellence program promotes greatness within the Ä¢¹½TVU Greek community, contributing to the university mission, by emphasizing academics, chapter management, leadership, community service and philanthropy, member development, diversity and inclusion, and Greek unity.

- Excellence in Community Service, Volunteerism, & Philanthropy
- Excellence in Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
Time Frame:Â The Greek Standards of Excellence program reflects activities that take place from January 1 through December 31 of the reporting year.Â
Points: Organizations can receive a ‘Gold,’ ‘Silver,’ or ‘Bronze’ chapter distinction based on the total number of points the organization receives within the Greek Standards of Excellence program during a given reporting year. Points are divided as follows:
Organizations that receive the distinction of being named a ‘Gold Chapter’ in every standard and exemplify the qualities of an outstanding Greek organization.
Organizations that receive the distinction of being named a ‘Silver Chapter’ exhibit qualities that excel above the minimum requirements for each standard and exhibit qualities of an ideal Greek organization.
Organizations that receive the distinction of being named a ‘Bronze Chapter’ sufficiently meet all Standards of Excellence and exhibit the positive characteristics of a Greek organization.
